Michael Mitschele, who is a well-known entrepreneur and corporate manager, was born into a large family with a total of eight siblings. Besides being a successful businessman, Michael is a family man having three adult children, Melissa, Dawn and Daniel. A renowned executive, Michael makes his home Naples, FL and Pine, CO.
From a very young age, Mr. Mitschele started taking interest in a variety of outdoor activities by joining Troop 12, Livingston, NJ, as a life scout. However, his professional career began when he was just 15 years old. Due to his immense interest in business, he became an entrepreneur operating a business of boarding horses and managing Garden State sanctioned horse shows.
Like his other humanitarian activities, Michael Mitschele has enjoyed a successful and distinguished career in business as well. He enjoyed a glorious career in the Baer Concrete, the construction materials business owned by his family. At Baer Concrete and Baer Aggregate, Michael initiated his career as operations support and executed a variety of tasks in support of the general operation and daily production of concrete plant till 1981. Later from 1981 to 1985, Michael was transferred to the sales department of the company where his major responsibility was to target the construction companies in Northern New Jersey market to increase the sale of the concrete material including sand and gravel.
Throughout his association with Baer Concrete, Michael worked very hard on every position. However, the major turning point in his career came in 1985 when he became the vice president and the general manager of Baer Concrete and Baer Aggregate respectively. During his tenure as the Vice President, Michael proved his entrepreneurial skills and talents by smartly leading the operations and business development projects of the company. In 1987 Mitschele became president of the company.
With his hard work and business talents, Michael successfully opened a third concrete plant of Baer Concrete and also developed a limestone crushing facility and septic sand. As a result of his smart business moves and strategies, the company made the profits by 200% and Mr. Mitschele became the sole owner of the company in 1992.
Michael was one of the founding fathers of U.S. Concrete, Inc. in 1999, where he has served as a regional president and Director of Corporate Development. The company is currently listed on the NASDAQ Stock Exchange. One of the great works in Michael’s credit is the union of various independent concrete corporations into a single large unit, which eventually represent United States’ concrete sector in International Concrete Market.
After enjoying marvelous successes in business, Michael now prefers to enjoy his time at his home in Naples with his children. Besides spending time with family, Michael also divides his free time into enjoying sailing, golf, fly fishing and snow skiing.
